Once again this year, Le Château du Bois has been awarded the first prize for AOC essential oils. AOC is a certification by the French government bureau for upholding a rigorous set of clearly defined standards in its product category.
Le Château du Bois skincare range benefits from the exceptional research by George Lincelé concentrated on Provencal areas that produce fine lavender in Vaucluse, Alps of High Provence, High Alps and Drôme. Cultivated in perfect conditions on their vast and fertile lavender farms, the flowers harvested season after season burst with intense fragrance and colour. The salutary properties of lavender, a plant which has existed for a thousand years, are thoroughly preserved—emotional healing, gently sedating, nurturing, comforting and providing great peace of mind.

Le Château du Bois product formulas contain an extremely high level of active ingredients (around 30%) and natural products including essential oils, plant oils and oil extracts. Developed with respect for the environment, the products do not use silicones or mineral oils, colorants, synthetic fragrances, parabens or phenoxyethanol. They are also free of laureth sulfate, PEF and PPF (except for the shower gel for men and the milk bath). They do not contain any animal-derived ingredients, with the exception of honey. None of our products are tested on animals.
